Testagen

Testagen is a synthetic peptide bioregulator, a short chain of four amino acids arranged in the sequence Lys-Glu-Asp-Gly (KEDG). It is best known in research for how scientists use it to explore prostate and testicular tissue models, and its very small, compact structure is what makes it stand out.

It comes out of the well-documented Khavinson line of peptide bioregulator work, which gives it a solid footing in published study (Khavinson & Anisimov, 2009). That history is a big reason it keeps showing up as a reference compound in laboratory work.
