BAC Water (Bacteriostatic Water) is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. It is supplied in 10 ml glass vials for laboratory research use, primarily as a diluent for reconstituting lyophilized peptides and research compounds.

In research workflows, BAC Water is commonly used to dissolve lyophilized peptide powders into liquid form for downstream experimental work.
