Description
Pinealon is a short synthetic bioactive tripeptide composed of three amino acids: glutamic acid, aspartic acid, and arginine. It is recognized in research for its role in neurobiological regulation, cellular protection, and modulation of circadian rhythm–related processes.
Through its biological activity, Pinealon has been studied for its involvement in cognitive function models, memory-related cellular mechanisms, sleep–wake cycle regulation, and immune system signaling. Research interest has focused on its antioxidant properties, neuronal protection potential, and its role in maintaining cellular homeostasis under stress conditions.
(Khavinson et al., 2005 — Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine).
The peptide is supplied as a lyophilized powder to ensure optimal stability during storage and handling.
Pinealon Overview
Pinealon is a synthetic tripeptide structurally associated with regulatory peptides linked to pineal gland function. Due to its small molecular size, it is widely studied as a signaling peptide capable of interacting with intracellular pathways involved in oxidative stress regulation, neuronal signaling, and circadian rhythm control.
Unlike larger peptide compounds, Pinealon exhibits broad regulatory activity across neural, immune, and cellular stress pathways, making it a valuable research compound for studying neuroprotection, aging-related cellular changes, and biological rhythm regulation.
